Salon Cosabella has assembled a team of talented, experienced professionals who are as passionate about being kind as they are about making you look good. Our stylists stay current with fashion trends and the latest technical skills through our continued education program. All of our stylist are independent and determine their own menu of services. With so many different personalities to choose from in our salon, you’re sure to find a stylist who gets you. Salon Cosabella FAQ

  • Our rental rates are a bit different from most places and are priced daily. Rates are prorated based on the number of days you work per week. The more days per week you work, the less your daily rental rate is. This model offers flexibility for part-time and full-time stylists and is even ideal for stylists that only want to work a few days per month (minimum requirements).

    Stylists commit to specific days per week, but using our chair reservation app you can pick your own schedule, or add on days if you need to make a little extra that week. Our rates are incredibly competitive with surrounding booth rental salons and salon suites, but our rent includes MANY more services and amenities.

    Rent is charged weekly on Tuesday for the previous week worked (Mon–Sun) through our automated system and is directly debited from your account. All product and treatment purchases are added to the total for the week, and all discounts, vacations, and free weeks are taken out of the total at that time, as well.

    • Flexible schedules, with daily rental rates, are included as options. You can move, change, and add-on work days at your convenience using our chair scheduling app.

    • You will receive a key to a large locker for your professional supplies, a cubby for your personal belongings, and a mobile station with a color tray and three large drawers. Every drawer and door has a lock so that you can keep your things secure while you’re away. Each chair has an anti-fatigue mat.

    • We have additional space for processing areas and designated blow-dry stations for stylists that chose to double-book their guests.

    • All back bar supplies and station products are included in return for your participation in our retail sales. We also provide foil for your professional use.

    • Our full-time concierge and front desk staff are available for your support seven days a week. These amazing people work hard to answer phone calls, respond to online appointment requests, greet our guests, check clients in and out, and help with the overall operation of the salon throughout the day. Their daily duties make it so that you can focus on the guest in your chair and forget about work when you are at home.

    • Free parking for staff and guests.

    • Complimentary beverages for your guests.

    • A professional cleaning service cleans the salon every night. Walking into a clean salon every day not only makes your job easier but makes the right impression for guests.

    • All of our stylists are featured on our website and social media pages. In addition, we offer access to Salon Cosabella branded marketing materials, social media support, and education to help your business grow.

    • We offer the full Kérastase treatment line for you to purchase and offer to your guests. It is a great way to boost your revenue and hit your goals.

    • Plenty of opportunities for free and discounted rent through our retail rewards program, our staff referral program, and once you have been with us for a year you will earn a free week of vacation every year.

  • Ask any Salon Cosabella artist, and they will tell you about the unconditional support they receive and give to each other. We believe in building each other up because when one of us wins, we all win. That’s why we continue to invest in our team’s success.

    Salon Cosabella invests in ongoing education and provides consistent opportunities for expert-led industry education and skill advancement. We host a diverse offering of in-salon classes throughout the year for you to attend for free. Our education doesn’t stop with haircuts and color. We make sure our artists understand how to have longevity in their careers. This is why we offer classes and mentoring on the ins and outs of being self-employed; from social media marketing to taxes, retirement, insurance, and self-care. Here, everyone has the tools they need to be successful.

    Each artist is given annual planning meetings (or more if you chose) to help you set goals, listen to your needs, and connect with you personally. In addition to helping you with your goals, we use our time to learn from you. We value candid feedback and use it to improve the salon experience. Oftentimes when you are self-employed, it is easy to get into a rut, lose motivation, and find yourself complacent in areas like pricing. We support you in communicating things like price increases, schedule changes, or anything else your clients need to know, in a way that suits you and your personality best. It is not uncommon for us to do a price increase as a team just to make it easier for everyone.

    Salon Cosabella stylists are successful and supported, which is why our stylist retention is so high. We have many stylists that have been with us for over 10 years and several that have been with us from the very beginning. We understand that people's goals and needs evolve. This is why we have an open-door policy and completely support any stylist that wants to take their dreams in a different direction. We support you professionally and personally so that you can achieve your dreams with us, or anywhere else they may take you!

  • We know that when stylists change salons, it’s likely they’ll lose a small percentage of their clientele. It is also possible that a stylist will lose nearly all of their clientele if they are leaving a salon that does not support their move, or if they are moving a long distance. Over the years we have seen it all and we have stylists from every circumstance working with us; those who came to us with a full clientele and are busy on their first weeks in the chair, as well as those with little to no clientele who must build their business in a very short amount of time.

    Due to our longevity and great reputation, Salon Cosabella gets hundreds of new clients every month. If you walk in the door as a talented, personable, hard-working stylist, your books will be full in no time. This is not an exaggeration!

    We also allow our more seasoned stylists to obtain new clients if they want them. We follow a system to keep new-client distribution fair for all stylists.

  • We are looking for enthusiastic stylists, who love to show off their skills and expand their business. Salon Cosabella is a bustling salon, with a constant flow of new clients. Years of experience or a full book of clientele don’t necessarily determine whether you will be a good fit or determine your success as an independent stylist at Salon Cosabella. You don’t need to worry if you lose some clients in the move or even if you are starting from scratch. As long as you are passionate about what you do and you are a great fit for our team, then we will support you and help you grow.

You will never find anything “toxic” between these walls. We realize that our team is what helps create this vibe. We are looking for stylists who share our values.
